Child’s Play is a charity organization based out of Seattle, and one that KANO/APPS is proud to support. Child’s Play works with heavy hitters in the gaming and tech industries–companies like Nintendo, Google, Warner Brothers, PopCap and, of course, KANO/APPS–to help lighten the burdens on hospitalized children by providing medical centers with consoles, games and toys. They started in 2003 by raising $250,000 for the Seattle Children’s Hospital. Since then they’ve raised almost $10 million and provided the tools for fun to 70 hospitals worldwide, raising $3.5 million in 2011 alone.
